Internship, The Signaling Solutions Inc., Terre Haute, IN

  • Interacted with the management and staff at the TSSI to gather an in-depth knowledge about the current situation and documented the AS-IS model.
  • After a thorough discussion with the management, the interns-team suggested four solutions for the improvement of the company and designed the TO-BE modelupdate the existing manuals, renovate the existing website, create a promotional/instructional CD-ROM for different products, design an online ordering system.
  • Gathered requirements from the management in order to develop the TO-BE model.
  • Worked with the staff to gain good working knowledge of the products manufactured in the company.
  • Manually tested the TSSI products to confirm its efficiency.
  • Assisted in updating the manuals (using MS Word and ADOBE), renovating the website (using Dreamweaver) and creating the online ordering system using Oracle Database).
