Part of the top 2 % of the 100,000 odd students who appeared for the IIT JEE entrance examination and subsequent admission to the Engineering program at the Banaras Hindu University was on that basis.
Won the Best Paper Award at CADENCE PROBE '96 an All India Student Symposium on Computer Engineering, organized by the IEEE student chapter.
Paper was recognized by the National Remote Sensing Agency, Hyderabad, India and was awarded a pilot project grant.
Won a fellowship to work at Space Applications Center, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Ahemedabad, India in the Summer of 1997.
