Monsters in the Closet Blood Bowl Rules
This league is run out of the Game Closet, our local GW store in Terre Haute,
IN. As a result of the "official-ness" of the store's
environment, it uses mostly vanilla BB and DZ rules (3rd Edition). Here are the only ways
in which it differs that I can think of:
- An injured player's coach is allowed to roll his own injuries. Besides the apparent karmic improvements (I would _never_ kill my favorite player...), this has the added benefit that the other player can not re-roll a result that isn't deadly enough for him/her.
- Tournament pairings and seedings are done on a completely random basis.
- A coach must have a team at TR 250 before he may start another, and then to a maximum of 3 teams (which I have).
- Coaches are allowed to move one player on the recieving team one space closer to the ball on kickoffs after the event is worked out, but before the final scatter, and may, if they happen to be in the correct space, take a free attempt to pick it up.
