This was an old ballroom or something, right on the beach.  I mean, right on
the beach, I think the stage may have been over the water.  This was the
first show where I got there in time to see the Aquabats and they didn't
even play.  Mephiskaphales opened,  the Alkaholics sprayed beer around as
usual.  At this point I had come to the conclusion that Blink 182 are
homosexuals.  It was one of em's birthday, and the other dude smashed a cake in his face.  some 12 yeard old girl came up on stage and then proceeded to start licking it off, whuch only prolonged my agony as I waited for them to finish their bubblegum music so we could hear Primus.
