The Pathan Pride
The Pathan's are a warrior race originally hailing from the North West
Frontier Province of the present day Pakistan. Many of them migrated to the
Central and the Southern parts of India during the long period of Muslim rule,
and made it their home. 'Khan' is a common surname of the Pathan's, though its
not necessarily a rule. Many of them have distinguished themselves in the
fields of science, art, music and sports.
