Luke Skywalker is perhaps the greatest hero of the Alliance.
He was originally a farmboy from Tatooine with the nickname ‘Wormie' and
a trapped imagination. He met his date with destiny when his uncle
bought two new droids from some Jawa traders. When he discovered
part of a messege from a distressed princess he began his adventures.
The R2 unit carrying the message ran away and when he followed,
Luke met the Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi. They went to Alderaan on
a frieghter called the Millenium Falcon and piloted by future friend Han
Solo. They discovered an asteroid field of rubble and a giant battlestation
where he met and rescued Princess Leia Organa, the first real love of his
life. There his mentor, Obi-Wan died at the hand of Darth Vader.
After escaping Luke flew in an attack run on the Death Star and destroyed
it with his proton torpedo.
He then proceeded to Hoth where he was attacked by a wampa and
forced to retreat by an Imperial attack. He and Artoo flew to Degobah
in response to a vision of Obi-Wan. There Luke trained with Yoda
and broke off his education to rescue his friends on Cloud City.
He didn't do much good there and dueled with Vader, only to have Vader
tell him that he was Vader's son. He also lost his right hand in
that battle along with his father's lightsaber.
He then proceeded to Tatooine to rescue Han Solo from the clutches
of Jabba the Hutt. He got there and kicked tail, Hutt tail that is.
He then returned to Degobah to find Yoda in his death bed and to have confirmation
from him that Vader was his father and to find out from Ben that Leia was
actually his twin sister. He entered the task force at Endor
and left after meeting the Ewoks. He confronted Vader and the Emporer
and was nearly killed in the attempt. At the last minute Vader turned
from the dark side and saved Luke, tossing Palpatine down a deep shaft.
Luke couldn't save his father, who died in his arms, free. He escaped
from the exploding Death Star and rejoined his friends.
He then got news of an alien attack force at an Imperial planet,
Bakura. He went after a vision of Ben and discovered a Force-strong
young man who was a slave to the aliens. He got infected by brochial
parasites, fell in love with a local senator and drove the aliens off.
The young man, Dev Sibwarra, was killed in the process and he had to leave
the girl, but oh well.
Then Leia got a proposal from a Hapan prince and Luke had to
chase the angered Han to a backwater planet called Dathomir. He met
a local girl named Teneniel Djo and she captured him as her mate and he
saved her life and canceled the slavehood. He discovered a clan of
evil Nightsisters and was nearly killed in an attack. He recovered
and drove them off the planet and destroyed an orbital nightcloak surrounding
the world. He was happy to see Teneniel fall in love with the prince
and Han and Leia got married.
During the next year Luke became an uncle. Leia gave birth
to two jedi twins, Jacen and Jaina. During that same year he discovered
a mad jedi clone, Joruus C'Boath and met a mortal enemy, Mara Jade.
Luke decided to see if the Jedi was for real and decided he was quite unstable.
Mara and Luke were forced to cooperate and became friends afterwards.
With her help he suceeded in defeating a clone of himself and vanquishing
Joruus. Two years after the twins' birth he got another nefew, Anakin
Solo.
Luke decided that in order for the New Republic to succed it
needed the return of the Jedi Knights and fast. He set up an academy,
a praxeum if you will, on Yavin IV in the old rebel base. He searched
the galaxy for students and found about a dozen cantidates. He also
discovered a dark spirit of the first Dark Lord of the Sith, Exar Kun,
inhabiting one of the temples and tempting his students. In a showdown
with Kun and his dark prodegy, Kyp Durron, Luke's spirit was separated
from his body. The Jedi students bound their powers together to destroy
the spirit of Kun and when they did Luke regained consciousness and Kyp
returned to the light side of the Force.
Then Luke and his family recieved a startling message of a impending
disaster. Luke set out on an expedition with two of his students
and Threepio and found an old Imperial dreadnaught, the Eye of Palpatine.
Onboard Luke met a woman trapped in the computer and fell deeply in love
with her, her name was Callista. He and his students succeeded in
destroying the ship, but both of them were killed. Luke discovered
Callista in an escape pod, inhabiting one of his student's body's.
They discovered that she had lost her talent for the Force in the transition,
however.
Callista and Luke tryed to find out how to restore her powers,
but nothing helped. During an attack on the Jedi Academy by the ressurrected
Admiral Daala, Callista left and, after disabling Daala's flagship and
killing the Admiral, went on to try on her own to discover he powers again.
She left a message for Luke which broke his heart. In the process
of fending off the invaders, one of his students was killed after overloading
on the power of all the trainees combined.
On a trip to a space station near a black hole, Luke and Han
discovered a mystic healer named Waru. They also got news that Han's
children had been captured and their location was unknown. They found
them as the dark Jedi, Hethrir, was taking them to see Waru on the station.
Luke was overtaken and plunged into the gelatin healer, seemingly to his
doom. Leia, who had joined them, went in after him and the thoughts
of the children led him out.
About two years later, Luke was asked by Lando Calrissian if
he would accompany him on a wife hunt. He agreed and after some interesting
experiences, ended up at Corellia, where Han and Leia were in trouble.
He met with the girl from Bakura, Gariel
