Megan Bowers is the defending MVC conference champion in the womens pole vault, which means she holds the MVC meet record in this event also.  Troubled by back pain, and of late, shin splints, Megan has had a below par year.  This, though, does not mean that she will not be able to defend her title as MVC champion.  She is the one to beat.
