Advanced Communications Officer Training (ACOT) is part of the 333rd Training Squadron, under the 81st Training Group, 81st Training Wing, Keesler AFB near beautiful Biloxi, Mississippi on the Gulf Coast. This Web page has been
created to give the incoming student a good idea of what to expect in their
seven and a half weeks at Keesler AFB.
STUDENT CHECK-IN PROCESS
BILLETING
ACOT Staff reserves billeting for all students. No action should be required
by the student prior to arrival. Due to space shortages, students may be temporarily billeted off
base for their first few days at Keesler.

GETTING TO KEESLER AFB
DRIVING
From I-10: Take I-110 South (follow signs for Keesler AFB). At the end
of I-110 (3 mi) take US 90 west and make a right on White Ave. There will be signs to the base.
FLYING INTO GULFPORT/BILOXI AIRPORT
Follow signs to Highway 90. Turn east (left) when you hit the beach (Highway 90). Follow signs to Keesler (about 10 miles).
Muse Manor is the last building on the left before the second traffic light on base.
LOCATION AND DUTY HOURS
ACOT classes are held in McClelland Hall -- building 2818 (Corner
of E St. and Hangar Rd).
ACOT works on the compressed schedule. This makes every other
weekend a three day weekend. The duty hours are as follows:
- Mon-Thurs: 0600-1545
- Every other Fri: 0600-1445
REPORTING INSTRUCTIONS
Active Duty:
- Report to McClelland Hall, Rm 204 at 0600 hrs on class start date
National Guard and Reserve:
- Orientation: Report to McClelland Hall, Rm 204 at 1700 hrs the day prior to class start date
- Classes begin on Mondays at 0600
UNIFORMS
- Uniform of the Day is any combination of blues, except on Warrior Day (2nd Thursday
of each month) when BDUs are required
- Bring your Service Dress and at least one set of BDUs
(September classes bring MESS DRESS)
- Report within weight & appearance standards
