1959 Plymouth Savoy

I purchased this car in 2004. It took me 40 minutes to get it to warm up enough to drive it home! It looked nice though. The previous owner had painted it Candy Apple Green, and he had the interior redone. The car is originally a pale green color though at one point it was painted red. The interior is redone as stock, with some really nice fabric. It looks awesome! To get it running better, I put head gaskets, a new intake and a new carb on it. I also did a tune up and bolted in an MSD 6A box. I have since added dual exhaust to help it breath. This winter, so far, I have had the radiator recored to a 3 row from a 2. It is an aluminum hi-po core, so it should cool much better. The engine is currently at the shop getting rebuilt. The the heads are getting redone and all new bearings and rings will be used, though it will not be bored. The intake setup will be changed to a stock dual 4 with 2 500 cFM Edelbrock carbs. I did also put front disc brakes on the car, as well as a dual master cylinder.
