The Darkmist Vale Campaign
The
Discovery of Darkmist Island caused a stir among all the major races of
the world. All have sent expeditions to the island to explore and chart
the newest territorial find. Recently a small band of adventurers discovered
a lush large valley in the southern area of the island. News spread quickly
and now troops from every race are moving quickly in order to claim the
resource laden area for themselves...
The mist hung heavy over the field like the Commander's
burnished armour on his shoulders as he surveyed his men and waited for
the messenger to bring back word of his enemies troop movements. It was
only a matter of time now before the enemy would be walking into his tightly
woven trap. He would crush this pitiful enemy and take another step towards
acheving immortal glory within the Historian's record books. Suddenly,
cries of suprise and pain reached his helmet covered ears and he swong
in his saddle toward them. His heart skipped as he saw enemy troops springing
from the very woods he was using to cover his rear flank. A trap had indeed
been sprung this mist-filled morningand he was caught directly in tis epicenter.
He pulled his mount around and bellowed his first order to his unsteady
troops...
