The Scouts of the Empire, Salamander Marines assist the Explorer Corp in mapping the vast universe. They often combat the forces of Chaos and Genestealers in their exploring, as well as the numerous worlds filled with Orks.
Salamander Marines do not yet have an offical Games Workshop Codex but I have been working on one for them until the offical one is released. I'll update the Codex as often as I can and I ask all of you to field test it and send me replys on how you think it fares. Tell me all (which units are fair, which aren't how it plays overall, etc.) If you think that someone won't let you use a non-offical army codex, show them the codex, explain the good points of the various troop types, explain the bad points and the problems that you may run into. I have tried to make it as fair of an army list as possible. But in the end, if they still don't like it, you can't play with it and must play another offical army instead.
I also will post up army lists that I have used, for you to use or model your army after. I also will tell you how to make some of the special units that Games Workshop does not have mini's for.
