Campaign Story
Basically
we killed a whole lot of things (especially chuckie and calvin) and in
the end saved the world from an ancient atzlan artifact. We all started
in Seattle, moved to an abandoned missle silo/military base in the NAN
(which we had destroyed earlier), had our hacker break into Ares and steal
us 10 of every weapon and a bunch of military equipped vehicles. At that
point the game went crazy because we could easily field our own armies.
Eventually all the gear was sold, and we wandered around Atzlan for a couple
of days collecting pieces of an artifact.
One
choice moment was when we were in a temple, and I, the elf sniper was sneaking
in alone to find the piece and ran into a succubus. I was certain that
I had just found my girlfriend that had been killed when we were both young
and therefore sat down my sniper rifle and began removing my heavy military
armour. Everybody outside lost radio contact when I removed my helmet and
rushed to my "rescue". Our troll Chuckie was the first to get
there and saw through the sucubuss's illusion and saw me trying to mount
a giant squid and opened fire (what a suprise). The Succubus and I got
down behind the alter and missed the incoming rounds and I therefore grabbed
my sniper rifle to defend
my poor woman! I was sure to hit (having about 10 skill in my rifle at
that point as well as 9 combat pool), and a gun doing 14D really shakes
up a Troll, even in Heavy Armour.
It was at this chaotic point that our mage walked
in. He failed against the illusion and saw around the Elf woman's neck
an amulet that could make him the most powerful mage in the universe. His
overwelming desire for power took control and he was forced to ensure that
we mere warriors did not take his amulet so he blasted us with a real nasty
spell that ended up
mentally mortally wounding the naked elf sniper and KOing the Troll. Then
the second rounds of the Troll's vindicator reached the sucubuss, ending
it's life and the crazy combat.
I'll have the other guys write up some stories and give them to me as well as some character backgrounds and I'll post all the character stats. I'll also talk to Victor and have him post some general information about the campaign for all that are interested.
