The Undead Lord
Final Stand
The army of the dead were pushing us back
Would we withstand the undead attack
A skeletal Death Master and a witch spell caster
At the end of the day who would be the battle field master
A hellhound’s bite and fiery breath
Was the cause of a many elfin death
A skeleton the size of an old oak tree
Killed four-teen elves single handedly
We slashed them with our swords they did not bleed
Or cries of surrender they did not heed
Gallinir our leader took another vicious blow
Soon he would be looking through death’s window
A wraith paid no attention to metal armor
Much to the elves dismay and horror
Undead Calvary took no breath and made no sound
The last vision of our archers was their fiery hooves beating the ground
At the end of the battle commoner and captain alike
Had their head mounted on a spike
-Elgar the swordsmen, and novice bard
Last Letter by

This shall be my last battle I shall ever charge into. I can feel
death dancing over the heads of me and my men.. Death is waiting
for us to breathe our last breath on this evil and vile world. Feat
does not strike me, for I live by these words. “ Though my body will
be tortured and ripped by the swords of my enemy. My soul shall be
with God.”” I must leave you now mother. I now prepare
to fight the demons that threaten every thing that you and father brought
me up to believe in. I want you to know that I lay down my life willingly
so that you might live a life free of evil.

Late Warning

Dear Sir Gallinir: I have learned that a large undead host are
on the move toward your homeland. The undead hoard consists of the
following. Two dozen light calvary. Eight heavy calvary.
Four units of swordsmen. Three units of spearmen.. Two units
of beastmen, all seem to have axes. Four units of bowmen. One
unit of halbeardiers. A horned giant skeleton. Half a dozen
ghosts, of which kind we can not tell. The same number of zombies
of all the other foot troops. A poison wyvern. The great undead
dragon-Panzi, Of course the vile Utu Ekong is with them to command
his army. I have sent some of my best men to help you in the fight.
They will serve you well, and follow you command as if I were there myself.
I’’am sorry that I cannot be there, but I must prepare my defenses in case
they come toward my own lands. Good luck, and may God be with you.
Lord Goodwin Leader of the Sinepaian army.
The letter of warning to Gallinir from Lord Goodwin. Along with
his troops, the letter arrived a day to late.
