write user [tty]

This command starts a one-way communication to user. User is notifed that it is you who is communicating with him and is invited to reciprocate the communication with a write command of his own. Text is sent a line at a time, so you will have to work out some means to signify the end of a message so the other may start typing. Write is only used to send short messages. Real conversations require talk.
