- f [userlist]
- finger [userlist]
- Finger is like who, but gives more personal information about the
users logged in. Without any arguments, it lists in short format,
the users that are connected, their real name, their ttyname, idle
time, login time, office # and phone #. If one or more usernames
are given it lists in long format, the users login name, real name,
home directory, his shell (more on this later), office and phone #,
home phone #, his last login and his plan. A users plan is just a
readable file '.plan' in their home directory. You can make one as
well and view it by performing a finger on your username.
