fg [%job#]

Fg puts a stopped job in the foreground, where it may continue to read from the keyboard or write to the terminal as normal. This will also allow you to put jobs that were formally in the background into the foreground where they may be killed or stopped again from the keyboard.

The job # is gleaned from the output of the jobs command.
