Printing:

Every can print to the SCC 24 hour lab printer, which is a HP LaserJet IV (postscript compatible) in the 24 hour lab of the Student Computing Complex. To print to this printer use lpr with the -P option to specify the printer, which is:

• • scc	- Text printing to the SCC lab printer.
    sccgr	- Printing graphics or postscript.

Thus to print a file, you would use:

• • lpr -Pscc <filelist>

Those working for the Life Science Dept, may get themselves put in the lifesci group, which will allow them to print to the network printers in the life science department. These printers are:

• • lp	- HP LaserJet III in room 210.
    lp-ps	- HP LJ-III with a postscript filter for postscript files.
    ls221	- HP 4si (postscript) in room 221.
    ls221gr	- Same as 221 but for graphics.
    ls210	- Science 210.
    ls210gr	- Science 210 for graphics.
    ls255	- Science 255.
    ls255gr	- Science 255 for graphics.
    ls262	- Science 262.
    ls262gr	- Science 262 for graphics.
    ls281	- Science 281.
    ls281gr	- Science 281 for graphics.
